Stadler Form dehumidifiers in the UAE: the Lukas Pro 50L and Lukas 20L, explained by room size

Swiss brand Stadler Form sells two Lukas dehumidifiers in the UAE through PRO TECHnology — a 50-litre 2-in-1 dehumidifier and air purifier for spaces up to 175 m², and a 20-litre model for rooms up to 70 m². Here is how to choose.

Fifty litres a day, or twenty. That is the first decision a UAE buyer faces with Stadler Form’s Lukas range, and the manufacturer’s own numbers make it a room-size question before anything else: the Lukas Pro removes up to 50 litres of moisture per day and is rated for spaces up to 175 m², while the Lukas removes up to 20 litres per day for rooms up to 70 m². Both are sold in the UAE and across the GCC through PRO TECHnology, the Swiss brand’s authorised exclusive distributor for the region.

Humidity is the reason the category exists here. Indoor moisture in the Emirates rises with outdoor conditions, building design, air-conditioning behaviour and the use of kitchens, bathrooms and laundry areas — and the visible symptoms are the familiar ones: condensation, damp smells and rooms that feel warmer than the thermostat says. A dehumidifier is the appliance that addresses the moisture directly rather than masking it. Which one depends almost entirely on the size of the space it has to serve.

Lukas Pro 50L: the 2-in-1 dehumidifier and air purifier for large spaces

The Lukas Pro is the model Stadler Form positions for large villas, open-plan living areas, offices, hotels, meeting rooms, retail floors and other commercial environments — anywhere a household-sized unit would be undersized. Its defining feature, per the manufacturer, is that it does two jobs: it dehumidifies, and with its integrated HEPA filtration it purifies, capturing dust, pollen and other airborne particles. It can also run as a standalone air purifier when moisture removal is not needed.

The operating details Stadler Form publishes for it are specific. Noise ranges from approximately 38 to 55 dB(A) depending on the level, with a dedicated Night Mode for quieter running. Wi-Fi connectivity puts monitoring and control on a smartphone; a swing function distributes treated air around the room; a laundry drying mode accelerates drying of wet clothes; and a continuous drainage option removes the tank-emptying chore in commercial settings.

  • Capacity: up to 50 litres per day.
  • Coverage: rooms up to 175 m².
  • 2-in-1: dehumidifier and HEPA air purifier, with air-quality monitoring.
  • Controls: Wi-Fi and smartphone control, digital hygrostat.
  • Modes: laundry drying, swing function, Night Mode.
  • Drainage: continuous drainage option.

Lukas 20L: smart dehumidification for homes and offices

For bedrooms, living rooms, apartments, home offices and hotel rooms, the Lukas 20L is the medium-space model: up to 20 litres of moisture a day for spaces up to 70 m². It shares the Pro’s smart layer — Wi-Fi control from a phone, a laundry drying mode that uses the swing function to move air through the room, a Night Mode with a published noise range of approximately 38–52 dB(A), and a digital hygrostat — and adds automatic shut-off, a child lock and a permanent drainage option.

Air purification on the Lukas is optional rather than integrated: an optional HEPA filter turns it from a dedicated dehumidifier into a dehumidifier with purification capability, which is the route for buyers who want one appliance for both jobs in a medium room without stepping up to the Pro.

Which one, by room

Sizing is the decision that matters, and the manufacturer is direct about it: an undersized unit in a large space simply cannot keep up, while a unit with adequate capacity gives humidity management that holds. The two models divide cleanly:

  • Lukas 20L — apartments, bedrooms, living rooms, offices, hotel rooms and medium spaces up to 70 m².
  • Lukas Pro 50L — larger villas, open-plan areas, offices, hotels, commercial premises and spaces up to 175 m².

Both are listed on the distributor’s UAE store — at the time of writing the Lukas Pro at AED 3,850 and the Lukas at AED 2,450, each shown against a higher previous price. Replacement filters for both are listed at AED 199.

Why dehumidification matters in the UAE and GCC

High indoor humidity makes rooms feel warmer and less comfortable, and persistent moisture contributes to condensation, damp odours and mould-related concerns — the maintenance problems that hospitality operators and villa owners spend real money on after the fact. A dehumidifier addresses the cause. The applications Stadler Form lists run from villas, apartments, bedrooms and home offices through corporate offices, hotels and hotel rooms, restaurants, retail stores, meeting rooms, laundry areas and any humidity-sensitive environment.

The brand itself is Swiss: Stadler Form has been developing household appliances for indoor climate for more than 25 years, with a portfolio spanning dehumidifiers, air purifiers, humidifiers and air circulators, and its UAE site cites more than 4.5 million products sold and over 50 product awards. Its design brief — appliances meant to sit visibly in modern residential and hospitality interiors — is part of the pitch to the region’s hotel and villa market.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best dehumidifier for high humidity in the UAE?

It depends on the space. For rooms up to 70 m² Stadler Form offers the Lukas 20L (up to 20 litres a day); for large villas, offices and commercial spaces up to 175 m² the Lukas Pro 50L (up to 50 litres a day) with integrated HEPA air purification — the manufacturer’s own sizing guidance.

What size dehumidifier do I need for a 175 m² space?

A high-capacity unit: the Lukas Pro is rated at 50 litres per day for spaces up to 175 m². The 20-litre Lukas is rated for 70 m² and would be undersized for an area that large.

Is there a quiet dehumidifier for a bedroom?

Both Lukas models have a Night Mode. Stadler Form publishes noise ranges of approximately 38–52 dB(A) for the Lukas 20L and 38–55 dB(A) for the Lukas Pro, depending on the operating level selected.

Can a dehumidifier also purify the air?

The Lukas Pro is a 2-in-1 dehumidifier and air purifier with integrated HEPA filtration and can run as a purifier alone. The Lukas 20L accepts an optional HEPA filter to add purification.

Where can I buy Stadler Form dehumidifiers in Dubai and the UAE?

Through PRO TECHnology Co. LLC, Stadler Form’s authorised exclusive GCC distributor, via stadlerform.ae or protechnology.ae, for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman.

Covers the GCC for readers in Egypt — the Gulf economies, the companies and sovereign funds that move regional capital, and the energy, investment and employment decisions that reach Egyptian households through remittances and jobs. The beat exists because what happens in Riyadh, Dubai and Doha is domestic news for the millions of Egyptian families with someone working there. Company reporting sticks to what a firm actually publishes and attributes it plainly; no revenue, headcount or contract value is estimated, because private Gulf groups disclose selectively and a confident guess is worse than an admitted gap.
